Henry Ray Glass went home to the Lord, peacefully, Thursday, May 30, 2013. He was born in the Texas Panhandle, his start in life was hard, he was raised on a small farmranch during the depression and the Dustbowl, Henry learned about life the hard way. He learned to look for Gods gifts and always found something good in everything. He always had a kind word and a big smile.
He joined the United States Army Air Corp. and retired from the Air Force after 25 years of service. During WWII, he was stationed in the Pacific and survived the bombing of Pearl Harbor. He loved New Mexico. Every chance he had he would go to the mountains and camp, fish and hike.
Henry married Virginia Turner on September 12, 1947. She preceded him in death December 1, 2012.
Henry is survived by his son, Michael Ray Glass of Klamath Falls, OR. and his two daughters, Cindy Glass of Roswell, NM and Vicki Glass Diggs of Spur, TX. Also surviving him are seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Henry was much loved and will be greatly missed. God Bless you Henry.
