A funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2010 at the Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Helen J. Hartman, 96, of Albuquerque who passed away February 9, 2010 in Albuquerque. Chris Gutierrez will officiate. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park.
Helen was born on October 18, 1913 in Crocus, North Dakota to John Froehler and Mary Rieland Froehler. Her parents have preceded her in death as well as her husband Bernard E. Hartman, a daughter: Mary Lindly, her brothers Ode Froehler, Francis Froehler and Sylvester Froehler and her sisters: Pauline Iverson, and Ella Kitch.
Helen is survived by her sons: Jerome, William, Kenneth, James, Donald, Gregory and numerous grandchildren.
Helen worked as a Supervisor for Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake, North Dakota. She was a member of the Eastern New Mexico Medical Center Auxillary, the Mercy Hospital Auxillary in Devils Lake, North Dakota and a member of the Catholic Daughters.
