A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Memory Lawn Memorial Park at 2:30 p.m. for Haley Ora Davis, 80 of Roswell, who passed away Monday, April 9, 2007 at a local care center. Rev. Robert Talley of St. Andrews Episcopal Church will officiate.

Haley was born on June 14, 1926 in Mountain View, Arkansas to James Johnston and Pearl Prince Johnston. Both parents have preceded her in death.

Haley married Van B. Davis in November of 1947 in Boonville, Arkansas. Her husband has preceded her in death.

Haley is survived; Her sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws: Anita and Bill Smith of Roswell, NM, Ed and Jean Hooper of Hobbs, NM, Juanita Needham of New Blaine, Arkansas, Colleen Morse of New Blaine, Arkansas and Betty Sue Wilson of Florida and Bernie Davis of Temple, Texas.

Haley has lived in Roswell since 1948; she was of the Baptist Faith and was a Homemaker.

The family request memorial contributions can be made to the Chaves County Joy Center, 1822 N. Montana, Roswell, New Mexico 88201.
