A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 13, 2008 at St. Johns Catholic Church for Guadalupe Daddy L. Salinas, age 19 of Roswell. Guadalupe passed away on August 9, 2008 in Roswell. A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday August 14, 2008 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Deacon Luis Romero will officiate. Interment will follow services at South Park Cemetery.

Guadalupe Daddy was born on December 21, 1988 to Harvey Salinas and Ester L. Salinas. He was attending ENMU-R for Criminal Justice. He was a life long resident of Roswell. He was a genuine person with an outgoing personality. Guadalupe had a smile that could brighten your day. He is loved and will be missed by all those who knew him.

His survivors include his parents, and grandparents; Luciano Hernandez, and Maria Salinas, his brothers: Carlos Hernandez, Gabriel Hernandez, Freddy Salinas, and Harvey Salinas Jr., best friend and cousin; Jesse Montez, best friends; Bernie Bedolla, and Kris Gomez., nephews, niece, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and girlfriend Alicia.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Carmen Hernandez, and Guadalupe Salinas.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Montez, Bernie Bedolla, Pete Hernandez Jr., Kris Gomez, Fabian Villa, and Jerry Martinez.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Nevarez, Albert Hernandez Jr, Josh Hernandez, Amanda Flores, Crystal Hernandez, and Michael Hernandez.
