Gregi Reed

Gregi Dorinda Hoyl Reed, 48, was born April 26, 1967 in Hobbs, NM to Sherron Holmes and Benny Hoyl.

Gregi was a very caring and carefree soul, she never met a stranger, was one in a million. To know her is to love her. Gregi married Mike Reed on March 14, 2011, together they owned and ran Bob Reed Pest Control. They loved to go hunting, fishing and camping. Gregi loved to crack jokes, dance and sing, she was so full of life and always put herself before others. Gregi will forever live in our hearts.

Those left to cherish Gregi's memory are her husband, Mike Reed; her stepmother, Linda Hoyl; her grandma Virginia Gilchrist; her mother, Sherron Holmes; 3 sisters, Shalisa Heath and husband Michael; Shea Winchester and husband, Michael; Misty Funk and husband, Kenny; one brother, Brian McNerlin and wife, Melody. Gregi is also survived by 7 nieces: Shauna Sherfick, Ashley Winchester, Rachel Willig, Stephanie Willig, Dorinda Sharray Rodriguez, Taylor Funk, Tina Vaughn, also 5 nephews: Dustin Cosper, Greg Heath, Mikey Winchester, Chase Winchester, Robert Buie and many more great nieces and nephews. Gregi also loved and cared for her pet, Brew.

Gregi is preceded in death by her father, Benny Hoyl and her sister, Andrea Sherfick.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chad Fogle and youth Pastor Chase Winchester officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. The family will be accepting visitation from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday, February 1, 2016 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel.

Serving as pallbearers will be The Punishers LEMC , Rick Velasco, Mike Heath, Michael Winchester and Steve Therrian.
