Greg Hanson

A memorial service is scheduled for 1 pm, Friday, March 20, 2015 at First United Methodist Church for Greg Hanson, 52, who passed Monday, March 9, 2015 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Rev. Monty Leavell of First United Methodist Church will officiate. Greg was be cremated according to his wishes.

Greg was born June 22, 1962 in Clovis, NM to Warren Hanson and Kathie Hanson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Marie Hanson and Gamiel and Nora Belle Thomson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Warren and Kathie Hanson; daughters Shiloh Hanson of Lake Jackson, TX and Siera Hanson of Dallas, TX; son Wrangler Price of Hemphill, TX; sister Gwen Hanson of Bedford, TX and niece Nicole Grimes of Bedford, TX.

Greg graduated at Artesia High School where he played on the Bulldogs Football team. He served four years in the Coast Guard in Virginia then went to work in the oilfields. Greg worked his last years on the family ranch in Hondo Valley. He was an avid rock hound and arrow head hunter.
