Grace Carman, age 104, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

Grace was born September 22, 1920, in Bozeman, Montana. Throughout her life, she lived in eight states and thought each one was the best!

She was employed by Artesia Public Schools as a first-grade teacher for 37 enjoyable years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Artesia, New Mexico. After retiring, Grace became the family genealogist, volunteered for meals on wheels, traveled extensively, and loved working in her yard.

She was preceded in death by her parents Quincy and Sadie Jeffries Carman and brother Eugene Carman and sister Cyrena Boggs and Husband Harry.

Survivors include, niece Judy Williams and husband Dennis of San Angelo, TX, nephew Frederick Boggs and wife Annette of Roswell, NM, Several great-nieces and great-nephews.

 A viewing will be at Ballard Funeral Home at 11:30 am. A graveside service will be Monday, February 3, 2025, at 12:00 pm at South Park Cemetery in Roswell, New Mexico.
