Grace Boggs

A graveside service will be held10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Memory Lawn Cemetery for Grace Boggs who passed away January 26, 2009 at Mission Arch Care Center. Wayne Brazil of the First Baptist Church of Hagerman will conduct the service.

Grace was born on July 2, 1913 to Hose Goodwin and Molly Florence Bumpus Goodwin in Oklahoma. Her parents have preceded her in death.

Grace married Lester Boggs in Oklahoma. He preceded her in death as well as one daughter Billie Jean Hansen.

Survivors include two sons: Robert Boggs and his wife Patty of Tempe, Arizona, Bobby Lynn Boggs and his wife Rhonda of Lubbock, TX; his two daughters: Florence King and her husband Zan of Hagerman and Judi Hain of Albuquerque, NM; her grandchildren: Kendell Moss, Debra Rynas, Dilanna Wilstead, Dianna Marquardt, Catherine Thomas, Shawn Boggs, Audrey Boggs, James Hansen, Teri Lyn Hansen; great grandchildren: Destry Moss, Stephanie Moss, Riley, Kelsey, Haley Wilstead, Jacob Thomas, Shelby Thomas, Morghan Thomas; and great, great grandson: Grady Moss.

Grace has lived in Roswell area for 65 years. She was of the Baptist faith and attended First Baptist Church of Hagerman. She was a quilter of homemade quilts for her family members and friends.
