A rosary is scheduled for 7:00, Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Ballard Chapel for Gloria Maria Sarabia, 55, of Roswell, who passed away February 27, 2008 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. A funeral mass is scheduled for 12:10, Monday, March 3, 2008 at Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Gloria was born on September 15, 1952 in Torreon Coahuila, Mexico to Jose Jesus Vazquez and Felicitas Vazquez. Her parents have preceded her in death.

Gloria is survived by her sons: Rodolfo Sarabia and Jesus Sarabia; her daughters: Jazmin Sarabia White and husband Lee and Verena Maturino; her brothers: Enrique Vazquez and wife Patricia and there children: Henry, Jesse and Richard and her brother: Jose Vazquez and his children: Jose Jr., D.J. and Benjamin; her sister: Irene Vazquez and her children: Mireya Vazquez Valerie Hornbeak and Luther Hornbeak; and her grandchildren: Nevan Fuquar, Alisandra Sarabia, Michael White and Adrianna Sarabia.

The Lord has relieved her of her pain and taken her home. Gloria was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a beautiful women inside and out. Gloria has lived in Roswell for three years, she was of the catholic faith and attended Assumption Catholic Church.

Pallbearers will be Enrique Vazquez, Enrique Vazquez Jr., Rodolfo Sarabia, Jesus Sarabia, Lee White and Luther Hornbeak and Sky Soliz.
