Glen Craft

Glen Norman Craft went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2015.

Glen was born in LaPorte City, Iowa on January 20, 1936, son of Leslie and Mary Craft. He married the love of his life, Analee Atteberry, in Illinois on June 13, 1959 and they were happily married for 56 years.

He is survived by his wife Analee; a daughter Laura (Don) Craven; a son, Chris (Janet) Craft; another daughter Julie Craft; five grandchildren, Sam Merkel, Nick and Luke Bugbee, Jacob and Ezryella Craft; two sisters, Jean Tyler and Joyce Chenoweth. He is also survived by some of the best friends anyone could have.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Lee and Robert Craft.

He graduated from Cerro Gordo High School and DeVry University in Illinois. He worked for AT&T for 30 years in Illinois before moving to Roswell in 1998. Prior to joining AT&T, he served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years, with 3 years served in Germany.

Glen was born to serve and he dedicated his life to his community, the church, and his family. He loved to camp, work in the yard, and spend time with his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church, 200 N. Pennsylvania, Roswell, NM 88201. A second memorial service will be held in Central Illinois this summer.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Cowboys for Cancer in memory of Glen Craft or the Cowboy Bell Scholarship Fund at First United Methodist Church to help kids with college scholarships
