Glee O. Lake

Services are scheduled for Friday, May 18, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church in Hagerman for Glee O. Lake, 86, of Hagerman who passed away May 15, 2007 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Norman Lake will officiate and burial will follow at Hagerman Cemetery.

Glee was born on November 6, 1921 in Oberland, Kansas to Bertrand Carver and Alta Lent Carver. Her parents have preceded her in death as well as eleven brothers and sisters.

Glee married Norman A. Lake on March 10, 1941 in Aztec, New Mexico. He survives him at the family home.

Glee was also survived by her sons: Roger Lake and wife Judy of Vernon, AZ, Norman Lee Lake and wife Elizabeth of Belen, NM and Rex A. Lake and wife Janie of Roanoke, TX; her daughter: Julaine Guess and husband Kenneth of Dexter, NM.; and eleven grandchildren, thirty great grand children and two great great grandchildren.

Glee has lived in Hagerman for 26 years and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hagerman.

Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
