Frank Joe Meads Nunez Sr.

Viewing will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021, from 1 pm – 5 pm at Ballard Funeral Home. Service will be held at Ballard Funeral Home Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 10 am and followed by interment at Memory Lawn Memorial Cemetery located at 2605 E 19th St.

Frank was born July 12, 1964, in Roswell N.M. and passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021. Frank was raised and loved by his parents Augustine and Pilar Nunez. Frank will be welcomed by his parents, brothers Joe Lujan and Ismael Lara Sr, and sister Francis Bejarano.

Frank was a loving, caring, and stern father to his sons Frankie Joe Meads Jr, Johnny Augustine Meads, and daughter Angelina Selena Meads. Frank was also loved like a father by Micheal Ramon, Christy Ramon, and Ruby Acosta who he raised as his own children. Frank has 5 grandchildren, Johnny Augustine Meads Jr, Nevaeh Bea Meads, Arissa Baca, Azalena Jaylene Baca, and Avieana Nayeli Baca.

Frank will be remembered as a hard-working man who loved landscaping, working on cars, collecting antiques, collecting hard to find car parts and his bright loving smile. Frank never hesitated to lend a helping hand and would always go out of his way to accomplish what was asked of him. Frank genuinely enjoyed helping others and always stayed busy. Frank loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren who love and miss him dearly. Frank was always there for his kids whenever they needed him. Frank loved cooking on the disco during family and friend get togethers. Frank was a best friend too many and loved all his friends like brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Joe Meads Jr, Johnny Augustine Meads, Angelina Selena Meads, Micheal Ramon, Larry Alfaro, and Bobby Valenzuela.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Lisa Marie Lujan, Lorenzo Baca Jr, Felicia Ann Gonzales, Krisyenthia Marrujo, Anita Guilez, Doug Catiano, Kathy Dillen, Sue Odom, Roger Andazola Sr, Richard Sosa, Pete Alvidrez and many more friends and family members.
