A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2007 at St. Johns Catholic Church for Frank Eloy Aldaz, 36, of Roswell who passed away October 1, 2007 in Lubbock, TX. A resurrection mass is scheduled 10:00 a.m. for Saturday, October 6, 2007 at St. Johns Catholic Church.

Frank was born on December 17, 1970 in Lovington, NM to Eloy Paulino Aldaz and Irene Rogers Aldaz. His parents survive him.

Frank is survived by his two children: Andrew J. Aldaz and Sierra N. Aldaz; his parents: Eloy and Irene Aldaz; three brothers Mario Aldaz, Isidro Aldaz and Mondo Aldaz; two sisters: Gina M. Aldaz and Dena P. Aldaz Holum; his 12 nieces and nephews: Michael, Eric, Jessica, April, Irene, Justin, Isidro, Kya, Alex, Savannah, Andrea and Alicia; his 3 great nieces and nephews: Elliana, Chris and Natalie; two sister in laws: Leeann and Tabatha; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Frank is preceded in death by grandparents: Frank and Beatrice Rogers and Mariano and Dominia Aldaz, one brother: Eloy Aldaz Jr. and one sister: Jina Susan Aldaz.

Frank was in the 1987 Olympics Box off in Houston. In 1988 he fought for the ultimate Boxing Club in 1989 he boxed for the Western Regional. In 2004 he was in the ABF Championship in Detroit, Michigan. In November 6, 2004 he boxed the Anthony Texas Community Crime Stoppers, El Paso Sports Commission for the Anthony Boxing Club and won the championship and championship belt for.

Pallbearers will be Frank Jaramillo, Albert Saiz Jr., Sam Sigala, Donnell Hunter, Robert Fuentas and Michael Amador. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ralph and Nicole Vargas and all other family and friends.
