Frances Dora Medlin

Frances Medlin, 79 of Roswell peacefully passed away March 5, 2007 after a long illness. The funeral was performed with close family. She was laid to rest at Memory Lawn Memorial Park next to her beloved husband Fred. The Rev James Kuemmerle of St. Marks Evangelical Luther Church performed the service.

Frances was born on June 24, 1927 in North Carolina to Joe and Nancy Heglar Green. Her parents have preceded her in death.

On October 26, 1946 Frances Green married Fred E. Medlin in York, South Carolina. He has preceded her in death.

She was born and raised in North Carolina. She was a military wife for 20 years. She worked at Furs and Anthonys before she retired.

She is survived by her two daughters: Mary Lee Hazzard and her husband Edwin of Albuquerque and Peggy Ann Frederick of Roswell; her grandchildren: Gene Purcell and Sheila Cych; her great grandchildren: Jessica, Sierra, Amber, Jeremy and Michelle; her sister: Shirley Blackwelder; and brother: James Green; and two sister in laws: Audry Weddington and Hazel Lee Beaver both of North Carolina and a very close family friend Josephine Arias
