Frances Corn, longtime resident of Roswell, died peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the age of 95.
Frances was born February 4, 1920 in Flodada, Texas to Frank and Annie Mask. The family moved to Roswell early in Frances' life where she remained until her passing. Her family will always remember her strength, courage, generosity and love. Frances had a long life and lived it well.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband, Lee Corn. After Mr. Corn's passing, Frances operated the Lee Corn Ranch for many years, which was a joyous time in her life. For the past several years and her rosebushes were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her immediate family: daughter Sharon Kay Wilson and her husband Bobby; grandsons Troy Sutherland and Chad Sutherland. We all loved her very much. Frances is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to Frances' caregivers at Mission Arch. To Allene and Alfred, there are no words to express what is in our hearts for the caring you provided.
Graveside services will be held at South Park Cemetery on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
The family request any memorial donations be made to your favorite charity or plant a rosebush in memory of a loved one. She would like that.
