Florence Dittrich

Florence Elaine Dittrich, known by many as the rabbit lady, joined her mother, Esther K. Gorham, and her father, Walter Kenneth Gorham, in the world beyond this world on Feb. 17, 2009. She lived 77 wonderful years and had lots of adventures in her life in Lucerne Valley, Calif., and her last six years in Roswell. She is survived by her sister, Lillian May Turman; her five daughters, Ginger Rodger Kimble, Ruth Ann Ford, Rachael Lee Clark, Crystal Amanda Cody and Debbie Charlotte Nelson; her 25 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by many of her family and friends. There was a family service on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, and there will be a service at 2003 N. Prairie Ave., on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at 1 p.m., for friends to pay their respects. For any further information please contact us at 575-622-7674.
