Filiberto Quezada

A rosary is scheduled for 6 pm, Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Filiberto Quezada, 76, who passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. A funeral mass will be celebrated by Farther Gonzalo Moreno of St. Johns Catholic Church at 10 am, Thursday, January 30, 2014 at St. Peters Catholic Church. He will lie in state Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 12:00 pm 6:00 pm at Ballard Funeral Home Crematory.

Filiberto was born June 10, 1937 in Chihuahua, Nonoava, Mexico to Dolores Quezada and Carmen Quintana. His parents preceded him in death. Filiberto married the love of his life of 49 years Isabel Reyes she survives him at the family home. Also surviving him are his sons Luis Carlos and wife Celerina, Filiberto Jr. and wife Irma, Ricardo and wife Maria, Eduardo and wife Lilia and Roberto and wife Nuvia sister Emma fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Filiberto was a lifelong resident of Roswell and a member of St. Johns Catholic Church. He was a big Dodgers fan and loved baseball and boxing. Filiberto enjoyed gardening and his fruit trees going out to eat and going to the casinos. His favorite thing to watch on TV was the news and the weather channel.

Serving as pallbearers are his sons Luis Carlos, Filiberto Jr., Ricardo, Eduardo and Roberto.

Un Rosario sera recitado a las 6pm, Miercoles, 29 de Enero, 2014 en la Funeraria Ballard, para el Sr. Filiberto Quezada, 76, que fallecio el Martes, 28 de Enero, 2014 en el Hospital Centro Medico. La Santa Misa se celebrara por medio del Padre Gonzalo Moreno de la Iglesia Catolica San Juan Bautista a las 10am, el Jueves, 30 de Enero, 2014 en la Iglesia Catolica de San Pedro. Visitacion sera el Miercoles 29, de Enero, 2014 de 12pm6pm en la Capilla de Ballard.

Filiberto nacio el 10 de Junio, 1937 en Chihuahua, Nonoava, Mexico a el Sr. Dolores Quezada y a la Sra. Carmen Quintana. Sus padres lo proceden en muerte. Filiberto se caso con el amor de su vida de 49 anos Isabel Reyes, ella lo sobrevive en el hogar familiar. Tambien lo sobreviven sus hijos, Luis Carlos y su esposa Celerina, Filiberto Jr. y su esposa Irma, Ricardo y su esposa Maria, Eduardo y su esposa Lilia y Roberto y su esposa Nuvia, su hermana Emma, 14 nietos y 8 bis nietos.

Filiberto fue residente de Roswell por la mayor parte de su vida, y miembro de La Iglesia Catolica San Juan. Era un gran fanatic de los Dodgers, le gustaba mucho el beisbol y el boxeo. Le encantaba estar en el jardin y cuidar sus arboles de frutas, salir a comer y tambien pasar tiempo en los casinos. Sus programas favoritos de television eran las noticias y el canal de tempestad.

Sirviendo como Portadores seran sus hijos, Luis Carlos, Filiberto Jr., Ricardo, Eduardo y Roberto Quezada.
