Eva Garcia Fresquez

Eva Garcia Fresquez 85 years of age passed peacefully at her home on Wednesday morning March 24, 2021. Eva stated that she was ready to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whom she had served for over 30 years. Eva enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great granddaughter, brother, and sisters. Eva was a resident at Casa Maria Nursing Home for many years and enjoyed the socializing events they held, such as bingo and jewelry making. She made necklaces, bracelets, and key chains for everyone that visited and including the residents of Casa Maria.

Eva is survived by her children Joe Rowland Fresquez (Sylvia), Judy Avelar (Manuel), Debra Fresquez, and Jaime Fresquez (Berlynda); brother Juan Garcia and sisters Mary Jane Diaz and Irene Pena. 11 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents Simon and Casimira Garcia; son Raymond Anthony Fresquez; daughter Cindy Ramirez; grandchildren Manuel Avelar, Joel Fresquez, Jesus Manuel, and Jose Orlando Lerma; brothers Fernando, Eugene, Ysidro, George Garcia and sister Aurora Jaramillo.

She will be dearly missed by all who loved her and had the privilege to know her.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, March 29, 2021 at Church on The Move with visitation being held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Ballard Funeral Home.
