There will be a wake at the family home at 202 S. Stanton on Sunday, February 1, 2015. A rosary is scheduled for 6 pm, Monday, February 2, 2015 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Eva Nadine Aguilera, 71, who passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Casa Maria Healthcare Center. Funeral mass is scheduled for 10 am, Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at St. John's Catholic Church, Deacon Martinez will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Following the funeral the family will receive guests at Father Juan Montoya Hall at St. Johns Church.

Eva was born May 14, 1943 in Roswell, NM to Ismael Sanchez and Geneva Anaya Sanchez who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brother Tony Sanchez.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Marcos Aguilera of the family home in Roswell, NM; sons Patricio Aguilera and wife Theresa of Roswell, NM, Jose Luis Aguilera and wife Lorenza of Roswell, NM and Javier Esquivel of Los Lunas, NM; daughter Leticia Aguilera and husband Reynaldo of Midway, NM; brother Frank Sanchez and wife Hilda of Roswell, NM; sister Rita Salazar and husband Felipe of McAllen, TX; Sister -in-law Lita Sanchez of Carson, CA; grandchildren Patricio Jr., Jessie Gutierrez, Tiffany Padilla, Joanna Gutierrez, Pete Gutierrez, Crystal Pantoja, Natalie Mendoza, Luis Mendoza, Adrian Esquivel, Nicole Esquivel and Victoria Esquivel and great grandchildren Jailynn Gutierrez, Gabriel Posada, Jozalynn Larson, Devani Larson, Delilah Pantoja, Mika, Eric and Neveah Gutierrez.

Eva enjoyed her books on tape, long conversations on the phone with family and friends, going out of town to visit with family, watching soap operas and getting her beauty sleep. She will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her.

Those serving as pallbearers are Pete Gutierrez, Patricio Aguilera Jr., Javier Esquivel, Jose Luis Aguilera, Luis Mendoza, Reynaldo Perez, and Francisco Sanchez.
