Esther Fabry

A rosary is scheduled for 6:00 pm, Sunday, December 9 at St. Peters Catholic Church for Esther Fabry, 90, who passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at her home in Roswell. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am, Monday, December 10, 2012 also at St. Peters Catholic Church. Deacon Howard Herring will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Esther was born March 30, 1922 in Krebs, Oklahoma, to Bill and Theresa Ramazatti Cole. They both preceded her in death as did her sister, Marry Rossel and Tilde Cole, as well as her two brothers Bosco and Guy.

Esther worked for several years for the Navy in McAlister, OK. She also worked at J.C. Penneys where she met her future husband, Tony.

On February 15, 1947 Esther married Anthony Tony Fabry in McAlister, OK. Esther and Tony moved to Roswell where they lived for more than 63 years.

Esther had an outstanding dress shop for several years in downtown Roswell.

Esther was actively involved with St. Peters and Assumption Catholic Churches. She also helped the Knights Of Columbus alongside her husband, Tony. In Conway, Arkansas she was instrumental in the building of St. Elizabeths Catholic Church.
