Estella Gibson

Estella Gibson, 76, passed away in her home on Saturday, April 20, 2013. She was born on May 23, 1936 in Glenco, NM to Luis and Amanda Torres who preceded her in death. Estella had a gift of bringing joy and laughter to those around her. This wonderful caring soul loved to spend time with her cherished pet cowgirl, hunting for deals at thrift stores, listening to Gospel music and collecting antiques. But her favorite pass time was reading the bible and sharing her love of God with others. Estella will always be remembered and deeply missed.

Surviving her are her sons Luis Torres and wife Judy, Victor Bascom and Dan Bascom and wife Kelly siblings Frances Baker, Billy Torres and Tony Torres also her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She preceded in death by her husband Michael Gibson sons Freddy Torres and Manuel Torres siblings Ernestine Atkins, Theresa Mata, Joe Torres, Prese Torres and Max Torres.

Memorial services are scheduled for 6:30 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Trinity House of Praise on the corner of Sunset and Albuquerque.
