Esperanza Barbosa Conde

A rosary is scheduled for 7:00p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2008 at St. Johns Catholic Church for Esperanza Conde, 69 of Roswell who passed away November 26, 2008 at her home. A funeral mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2008 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Fr. Juan Montoya, O.F. M, of St. Johns Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Esperanza was born on December 19, 1938 in Poth, TX to Remigio Barbosa and Tomasa Naranjo. Her parents have preceded her in death.

Esperanza married Benito Conde Sr. on August 8, 1956 in Lovington, NM. He preceded her in death.

Esperanza is survived by her sons: Jerry Conde and wife Diann of Roswell, Raul Conde and Jennifer of Roswell, Rosendo Conde and wife Rosario of Willmar, MN and Benito Conde Jr. and wife Rosa of Roswell, NM; her daughter: Biolanda Marquez and husband Magdaleno of Roswell; her sisters: Beatrice DeLeon of Roswell, Benita Conde of Denver City, TX and Clara Arguijo of Denver City, TX; and nineteen grandchildren and twenty- one great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

She loved and cared for all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Esperanza has lived in Roswell for 35 years. She was a homemaker, avid bingo player and was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church.

Pallbearers will be Felix Conde, Leon Conde, Willie Conde, Joaquin De Leon, George Yzaguirre, Dennis Vasquez; Honorary Pallbearers will be Dominic Conde and David Conde
