A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Ballard Funeral Home in Hagerman. Burial will follow at the Hagerman Cemetery.

Erick was born on March 20, 1985 in Chicago, Illinois to Manuel Barraza and Olga L. Vasquez. His parents survive him at the family home.

Erick is also survived by his brothers: Leonel Barraza, Henry Barraza , sister: Lori Olivas all of Hagerman, New Mexico; grandparents: Salomon Vasquez and Jose L. Barraza.

Erick has lived in Hagerman for the past 10 years coming here from Chicago. He was of the Jehovah Witness faith. Erick was a construction worker.
