Ercilia Tillie Ramos

A rosary is scheduled for 7 pm, Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Ercilia Tillie Ramos 74, who passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011 in Lubbock, TX. A funeral mass is scheduled for 10 am, Monday, December 12, 2011 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Father Juan Antonio Gutierrez will be officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Tillie was born April 19, 1937 in Carlsbad, NM to Manuel Najar and Alicia Munoz. Both parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by her stepmother Modesta Najar daughter Joanne Coggin and husband Ron of Carlsbad sons Mario Najar and wife Robyn of Albuquerque, NM, Larry Gonzales and companion Robert Saiz of Carlsbad, NM and Ramon A. Ramos and wife Erica of Albuquerque, NM sisters Nancy Flores and husband Tony of San Angelo, TX, Angie Palliwoda and husband Morris of California, Olivia Vallejos and husband Richard of Roswell and Angelita Ramirez of California step brother Gilbert Rivera and wife Carol of Roswell step sisters Vickie Matta and husband Bruno of Roswell and Lydia Madrid and husband Reynaldo of Roswell twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Tillie was a lifelong resident of Roswell. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church and was also their music director for many years.

Pallbearers will be Miguel D. Ceballos, Armando Ceballos, Phillip Coggin, Mario Coggin, Ercilia Najar, and Joseph Dominguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Michelle Dominguez, Alicia Ceballos and MiaCecilia Coggin.
