A Celebration of Life Ceremony is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Enedina Gutierrez- Chavez, ninety eight, of Las Cruces, NM who passed away August 20, 2009 in Las Cruces, NM. A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2009 at South Park Cemetery. Following the service at the cemetery, the family will receive friends at 1412 W. 8th, Roswell, NM.

Enedina is survived by her sons: Victoriano Trujillo Jr. of El Paso, TX, Arturo Trujillo of San Patricio, NM, and Fermin Trujillo of Anaheim Hills, CA; her daughters: Naomi Trujillo of Las Cruces, NM, Josephine Rivera of Las Cruces, NM, Lora Hernandez of Denver, CO, Stella Rue of Highland, CA and Dorothy Ayala of Albuquerque, NM; as well as 35 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren.

Enedina was born on September 16, 1910 in Fabens, TX. She lived in Roswell most of her life until moving to Las Cruces in 2002. She was a seamstress, an excellent cook and she loved to garden. She is remembered most for her beautiful flowers.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Juan Garza III, Joaquin Silva, Mario Trujillo, Arturo Trujillo, Sidney Trujillo and Steven Garza.
