Emma Savedra

Emma Savedra, 94 passed into the arms of her Savior surrounded by the love of her family. Emma was born April 10, 1924 in Tinnie, NM to Meliton Savedra and Carmelita Trujillo Savedra who have preceded her in death. She worked for short time at the United State Post Service in Tinnie, NM and was also a caregiver to her mother after the passing of her father. Her Catholic faith and devotion to her church and family are what defined her strongest qualities. Emma was a beloved daughter, sister and aunt (Tia) by her family and friends.

Those left to carry on her memory are her sister Aneda (Ann) Sauskis; brother-in-law Bill Sauskis; several nieces and nephews Mary Ann Kay, Gina Reinecke, Don and Gail Brooks, Aina Sauskis, Katy G. Sauskis, Christopher Hernandez, Joey and Emily Hernandez, Vilis and Susan Catman, Robert and Mandy Sauskis, Kira and Steve Rafuse, Valentine Duttle and Lana Brooks.

Emma would like to thank all caregivers and a "Special Thanks" to Dr. Vijay Chechani and Dr. Siavash Karimian.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, November 30, 2018 at St. Jude's Catholic Parish in San Patricio with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Inurnment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Emma's name to the Poor Clare Monastery of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 809 E. 19th Street, Roswell, New Mexico 88201-7599.
