No services are scheduled for Elisa Onsurez, 62, who passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 in Artesia, NM surrounded by her loved ones.

Elisa was born September 5, 1951 in Artesia, NM to Felipe Martinez and Josephine Navarette Martinez. Her parents preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Cresencio Onsurez son Lorenzo and wife Felipe Onsuraz and Christopher DAmore daughters Angelica DAmore, Amanda Lewis and Kerry Onsurez sister Rosemary Bussell and seven grandchildren Ryne, Tyler, Alex, Wyatt, Jaci Onsurez and Justin and Matthew DAmore.

Elisa was of the catholic faith and a member of Our Lady of Grace in Artesia, NM. She worked as a clerk at the Lake Arthur Water Department. Elisa loved reading and watching baseball and softball games. She had a real passion for animals. Elisa favorite thing was being in the mountains and road trips. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her and knew her.
