Edubijen Garcia
A long time Roswell-ite passed away November 30, 2009. Edubijen Sosa Valenzuela Garcia. A vigil service with rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Assumption Catholic Church. A funeral mass is scheduled for 12:10, Friday, December 4, 2009 at Assumption Catholic Church.
Edubijen better known as Dica was well known in the Roswell community. She was very talented with her cooking and baking and most of all for her flair with clothing. She worked many years at the Childrens Fashion Center and clothed many children through the years. Dica loved to read write and did a little painting, she also was a dosen at the Roswell museum. She was raised by her grandparents Jose Elijio and Maria Guerrero.
She raised three daughters whom she was especially proud of. Rosemary Glen Odam of Colorado, Gloria Raymond Dean of Michigan, and Josephine Campbell of Dallas Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Ysidro Garcia in 2007.
In addition to her children she is survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She leaves a legacy to her children of faith hope and courage.
