Eddy Segura

A rosary is scheduled for 7 pm, Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Hagerman, NM for Eddy Ramon Segura, 76, who passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 in Hagerman, NM. A funeral mass is scheduled for 10 am, Thursday, June 5, 2014 also at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Andrew Miles officiating. Burial will follow at Hagerman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 pm, Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Hagerman, NM.

Eddy was born August 31, 1937 in San Ignacio, NM to Lucio Segura and Justina Romero Segura. His parents preceded him death. Eddy is also preceded in death by his wife Josephine Carrasco and his sister Christina.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons Orlando and wife Stacy and George daughters Abrana Campos and Elvira Grado and husband Isidro brothers Joe Segura and wife Esther and Jesse Segura and wife Amelia four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Eddy had lived in Hagerman for fortyfive years coming from Lake Arthur. He was of the catholic faith and was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Eddy was a record collector and loved his music but most of all he loved visiting his grandchildren. He was a very hard worker all his life.

Those serving as pallbearers are Joey Segura, Steve Segura, Gene Campos, Bernie Olivas, Johnny Bass and Isidro Grado, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are all his nephews.
