Drusilla Macias

A rosary is scheduled for 7 pm, Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Assumption Catholic Church for Drusilla Macias, 77, of Roswell. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:10 Monday, May 16, 2011 also at Assumption Catholic Church. Father Bill McCan will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Drusilla passed away Friday, May 13, 2011.
Drusilla was born December 11, 1932 in Roswell to Mathias and Benedicta Briseno. She was a very devoted mother and wife who dedicated her entire life to her husband and children. She touched the lives of so many people. It was her kind, loving and generous spirit that she was able to bless all of those that crossed her path. Drusilla will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Descanse en paz Mama, son los deseos de sus hijos y su esposo. Nunca la vamos a olvidar y siempre estara en nuestros corazones Mama.
She is survived by her husband Marcello Macias her sons Hector Macias, Marcello Macias Jr., Mario Macias, Roger Macias, James Macias and Christoper Macias her daughters, Mary Macias, Julie Hoogerhuis, Hope Barrientos and Christina Van Horn her brother, Victor Briseno and one sister Dora Jimenez she had twentysix grandchildren and twentysix greatgrandchildren.
Drusilla was preceded in death by her parents Mathias and Benedicta Briseno two brothers, Tony and Salvador Briseno two sisters, Magdalena and Esperanza Briseno two sons, Baby Boy Macias and Victor Steve Guerrero and one daughter, Baby Girl Benedicta Macias.
Pallbearers will be Hector Macias, Marcello Macias Jr., Mario Macias, Roger Macias, James Macias and Christopher Macias.
Honorary pallbearers will be Laurence Macias, Brandon Macias, Dillon Macias, Daniel Hoogerhuis, Chris Macias, Michael Macias, Hunter Macias and Tyler Macias.
The family would like to express their most sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Daniel Raes M.D. for his wonderful care and treatment for many years, and also to the wonderful Doctors and Nurses of the Intensive Care Unit at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center for the love and care shown to our dear mother.
