Funeral services are scheduled at 9:00 am, Friday, September 2, 2011 at Berardinelli Family Funeral Home in Santa Fe, NM for Donald D. Miller 83, who passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Where services will be conducted by Military Honor Guard.

Donald was born September 22, 1927 in Joplin, Missouri to Charles Leslie and Bertha Mae Knapp. His parents preceded him in death and also his son Donald Miller Jr.
Donald is survived by his son Charles L. Miller and wife Carla of Dimmitt, Texas daughters Dorothy Mabry and husband Vance of Farmington, NM and Pat Pierce and fiace Richard Hoover of Roswell, NM brother Loyd Miller of Sacramento, California grandchildren Leah Mabry Wooding, Karen Mabry, Kelly Maes, Shelley Mabry, Brenda Pierce, Debbie Carr, Cheryl Tate, Dawn Pierce, Joseph Miller, Ryan Miller, and Jill Miller, along with 12 great grandchildren.

Donald was a residence of Roswell, NM since 1975 coming from Las Vegas, NM. He served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Donald was a heavy equipment operator, and was a past member of Roswell Elks Lodge and Pecos Valley Vintage Auto Club. Donald owned Model Ts that he loved to restore. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
