Donald Raymond James

A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 9, 2008 at St. Peters Catholic Church for Donald Raymond James, 74 of Roswell who passed away November 7, 2008 at his home. A funeral mass is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., Monday, November 10, 2008 at St. Peters Catholic Church. Donald will be cremated per his wishes.

Donald was born on September 18, 1934 in Rochester, New York to Raymond Chester James and Mary Elizabeth Margeson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter Mary Helen Mitchell, of Lackawana, New York.

Donald was married on June 5, 1953 to Paula Azel Leonard in Rochester, New York. She survives him at the family home.

Donald is also survived by his son: Donald Paul James of Buffalo, New York, daughters: Dawn Marie Schichtel of Elington, New York, Robin Fay Gibbs of Marina, California, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Donald graduated from Paul Revere High Scholl in Rochester, New York. He worked as a medical technician in cancer research for 25 years at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, New York. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church.
