Dena Willard

Our mother is Dena A. Willard and she passed away last Monday, September 12, 2016 at her home. She was our best friend, caretaker and guardian, moral compass and most importantly our mother.

First and foremost she was the greatest grandmother any grandchild could ever ask for. She loved her grandkids deeply and with all of her heart and soul; they truly were her life. Dena was a mother to all including her friends' children, and even her children's friends, no one was excluded. She cared for and loved them all as her very own.

Our mother Dena was strong and independent. She taught all of us to love with persistence and be as one together through anything. She taught us tolerance, acceptance and forgiveness. Even in her passing she wanted to help everyone. We love you mom and you will forever be in our hearts and minds.

Dena is survived by her three loving children; son Craig Willard and Brandy with their children Chase, O'Shea, Destiny and Aiden, daughter Amie Willard with her children Trevor Peralta and Devin Willard, and youngest daughter Christy Willard; ex-husband Dale Willard; older brother Robert F. Diffrient III (Bob) and Vickie Makehan with their children; Robbie Diffrient and his family; Misty Diffrient and her family; as well as many loved ones dear to her heart.

Dena is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Helen Diffrient and older brother Roger Diffrient.
