A funeral mass is scheduled for 10 am, Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at St. Peters Catholic Church for David G. Martinez, 77, who passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Father Charlie Martinez will be officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

David was born April 19, 1935 in El Paso, TX to Demetrio and Maria Martinez. His parents preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are his three brothers Manuel J. Martinez, John Martinez and Roy Martinez.

David is survived by his sisters Alice Martinez and Nola Martinez both of Roswell and numerous nieces and nephews.

David loved to work on and restore automobiles. He also enjoyed repairing any kind of electronic equipment. David loved music and played the guitar, playing with local groups.

He journeyed thru the fog and found Heavens door. RIP.
