David Rue Chrisman, Jr.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10 am, Friday, January 11, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church on West Alameda for David Rue Chrisman, Jr., 84, who passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Sunset Villa Care Center with his family by his side. Pastor Chris Mullennix will be officiating. David will be cremated according to his wishes.

David was born June 25, 1928 in Roswell, NM to Rupert Chrisman and Beatrice Pope. His parents preceded him in death.

David is survived by his wife Patricia Amos Chrisman his children Steve Chrisman and wife Cheryl, Nathan Chrisman and wife Gay, Kellie Adams and husband Rodney, David Chrisman and wife Jana and Ginny Chrisman his grandchildren Bryan, Brandon, Britny, Kathryn, Shelly, Kevin Michael, Travis and Barrett and his brother Bob Chrisman and family.

David worked as a Barber at Union Plaza and his shop Chriss Barber Shop. He lived in Roswell all of his life and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. David enjoyed fishing, playing golf, bowling, softball and umpiring for softball.
