Daniel Mandonado

A funeral mass is scheduled for 10 am, Friday, January 20, 2012 at St. Peter Catholic Church for Daniel Mandonado, 50, who passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at Roswell Regional Hospital. Father Charlie Martinez of St. Peter Catholic Church will be officiating with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Daniel was born January 27, 1961 in Mountainair, NM to Margarito and Epifania Sanchez Mandonado. His father preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his brothers Margarito Mandonado and Dick Mandonado uncles Chris, Paul, Joe and Rudy Sanchez and grandparents Luis and Mary Sanchez.

He is survived by his mother Epifania Torres and dad Juan Torres of Midway sisters Elaine Gamboa of Midway, Ernestine Olivares of Clovis, NM, Rosa Pereira of Roswell, Mary Ann Mandonado of Little Rock, Arkansas, Dora Gonzalez of Dexter and Eleanor Torres of Midway uncles and aunts Manuel and Emma Sanchez, Linda and Jimmy Horton, Gloria and Raymond Horton and Barbara and Tom Rico and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved very much.

Daniel was a fisherman and enjoyed his gardening. He really loved driving his dads truck and spending time with his special nieces Alexandra, Danielle and Brandy. He will be greatly missed by his family and all knew him.

Pallbearers will be Carlos Mandonado, Michael Sanchez, Danielle Gamboa, Sabrina Gonzalez, Jesus Gonzalez and Jonathan Navarrette.
