A funeral service is scheduled for 9 am, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Ballard Chapel for Cruz Gonzalez 82, who passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Mission Arch Care Center. Brother Alberto Molina will be officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Cruz was born May 2, 1929 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua to Narciso and Estasnislada Rodriguez. Her parents preceded her in death. Cruz married Reyes Rios Gonzlez on January 25, 1948 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua. He preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her son Abraham Gonzlez.

She is survived by her sons Clemente Gonzlez, Nestor Gonzles, Reyes Jr Gonzlez and Fernando Gonzlez daughters Asuncian Zubia, Maria Acosta, Emma Carreon, Aurora Gonzlez, Elpidia Loya, Vasilisa Salayandia and Guadalupe Luna brother Nestor Rodriguez sisters Eloisa Salazar, Belen Rodriguez and Petra Espinoza and numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and great greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Roque Gonzlez, Elijah Loya, Jared Acosta, Aaron Luna, Isaac Salayandia and Jonathon Venegas. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Gonzlez, Gustavo Gonzlez, Abraham Gonzlez and Isreal Zubia.
