Clifford Rhodes

A funeral service is scheduled at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 20, 2015 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Clifford Lemone Rhodes, 71, of Roswell, NM, burial will follow at Hagerman Cemetery, Hagerman NM with Pastor Rick Hale of Grace Community Church officiating. Clifford passed away at home surrounded by the love of his family, Thursday, July 16, 2015.
Clifford was born September 27, 1943 in Roswell, NM to Mike Lemone Rhodes and Emma Ruth Jenkins. He graduated from Hagerman High School and was raised on a farm in Hagerman, he also farmed his own place while driving a truck as he worked on road construction, and later on he was a gate watcher and truck driver for a dairy.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Patsy Hancock of the family home; daughter, Julie Gomez of Roswell, NM; son James Hancock Sr. and wife Gracie of De Leon, TX; son, Justin Rhodes and wife, Kalli of Roswell, NM; grandchildren, Jeremiah Barber, Aiden Kevin Rhodes, Erik Garza, James Hancock Jr., Joey Hancock, Eddie Gomez, Amilee Gomez, Alexis Gomez, Desirae Gomez, Angel Gomez and Chance Ty Wood. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Rhodes and wife Linda; and sister, Jane Andrus and husband Jerry of Roswell, NM; other family includes: Bobby Rhodes of Oklahoma; Randy Harmon of Arkansas; Karrie Harmon of Roswell; Laney and Shelly of , TX. Also surviving Clifford is his pet, Tinker Bell. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Clifford is preceded in death by his son, Kevin De Wayne Rhodes; parents, Mike Lemone and Emma Ruth Rhodes; grandparents, William Joseph and Mary Matillda Rhodes; sister, Emma Kathleen Harmon
Serving has pallbearers are Justin Rhodes, James Hancock Sr., Dakota Burns, Justin Stewart, Michael Varela, Randy Harmon.
Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren, Erik Garza, James Jr. Hancock, Joey Hancock, Jeremiah Barber, and Aiden Kevin Rhodes, Tomas Wolf, and Sammy Price.
I thank thee, Lord, that all this day, Thou hast guided me. I ask that through this night I may still kept by thee.
