Clifford Pa Parks

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at the Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Clifford Pa Parks, 79 of Roswell who passed away, Saturday, December 5, 2009 at his home. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Clifford was born on July 12, 1930 in Hominy, OK to George W. Parks and Myrtle Torik Parks. His parents have preceded him in death as well as his brothers, Jack Parks, Sam Parks, Tobe Parks, and Henry Parks and sister Betty Reddings.

Clifford married Audry Mae Hudson on April 16, 1954 in Portales, NM. His wife has preceded him in death as well.

Clifford is survived by his sons: Joey J. Parks and wife Sherry of Roswell, NM, Danny L. Parks and wife Kathy of Glendale, AZ and Jerry W. Parks and wife Jennifer of Glendale, AZ and adopted songrandson: Clifford Parks; his brothers: Carl Parks of Portales, NM, and Alfred Parks of Antsler, OK and his sister: Martha Maxine Wolf of Muleshoe, TX.; his grandchildren: Christopher Parks and companion Tasheena Montoya, Jonathan Parks, Jason Parks, Misty Taylor and husband Chris, Jody Appleton, Clifford Parks, Casey Parks, Tiffany Parks, Jamie Nelson and fianc Kurt Fairres; his great grandchildren: Reba Burns, Hannah Corn, Trevor Smilin Jack Dunaway, Skyler Dunaway, Ivory Shelby, Allayne Appleton and Xera Appleton.

Clifford worked as Town Marshall in Hagerman and was a member of the Assembly of God. For the last year he enjoyed his great grandchildren in Roswell, Smilin Jack and Skyler. He also loved to listen to his wifes recorded Gospel music and enjoyed Fishing and Gardening.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to Vanessa and Frontier Home Health Care and the nursing staff at Roswell Regional Hospital.

Pallbearers will be Danny Parks, Jerry Parks, Clifford Parks, Joey Parks, Christopher Parks, Kurt Fairres, and Jody Appleton.
