Clara Edna Wilkerson

Clara Edna Wilkerson, age 87, passed away October 24, 2008, in Denton, Texas.

She was born in Roswell, New Mexico on July 11, 1921 to Edwin and Mary Roberts, and was married on April 13, 1940 to Ernest Wilkerson. She was a long time member of Country Club Church of Christ.

She is survived by three sons, Ralph Wilkerson of Corinth, Texas, Richard Wilkerson of Oxon Hill, Maryland and Russell Wilkerson of Portland, Oregon, a daughter Linda Emmons of Aurora, Oregon, two sisters, Martha Sherrick of Ft Worth, Texas, and Dorothy Wheat of Kilgore, Texas, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Edwin Roberts, Jr.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at South Park Cemetery. The Rev. Elton Dilbeck will officiate.
