Christopher Padilla

Christopher age 49, known as Squirrel by his friends, passed away on September 8, 2013. He was born October 28, 1963 in Roswell, NM to Salvador and Fita Padilla. His father preceded him in death. He leaves behind his mother Fita Padilla. His daughter Cynthia Padilla and granddaughter Josefita Larez. His sister Petra Chavez her husband Zeke Chavez, and their children Brenda Magnuson, Zeke Chavez III, Pauline Chavez, MichaelJames Chavez. His brother Fred Padilla. His sister Effie Warner her husband Juan Warner, and their children Elisa Warner, TracyJo Galvan, Effie Hernandez, Sallie Warner, and Juan Diego Warner. His brother Salvador Padilla Jr. his wife Elaine Padilla, and their children Lorie Lancaster, Francisca Padilla, Monica Gurule, Ana Padilla, Gloria Padilla and Salvador Padilla Ill.

He was loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and an amazing friend. He was a mechanic and had a deep love of classic cars. He also loved to go fishing and deer hunting with family and friends.

He will greatly be missed by all his familia, Tia Della, great nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A rosary will be recited at 7 pm, Thursday, September 12, 2013 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Funeral mass is scheduled for 10 am, Friday, September 13, 2013 also at St. Johns Catholic Church with Father Gonzalo Moreno officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Zeke Chavez III, MichaelJames Chavez, Salvador Padilla III, Juan Diego Warner, Dominique Herrera and Daniel Romero. Honorary pallbearer is Arnold Larez.
