Chloe Rae Lara

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2008 at Waymaker Church for Chloe Rae Lara, 15 of Roswell who passed away November 28, 2008 in an automobile accident. Pastor Mike Knowlton of Waymaker Church will officiate. Interment will follow the service at South Park Cemetery.

Chloe was born on November 28, 1993 in Roswell, NM to Cedric Lara and Anna L. Giron. She was a freshman at Roswell High School, and she loved sports and music. Chloe was and is the light of all our lives.

She is survived by her father Cedric Lara and his fianc Natasha Saiz, her brothers; Dwayne Garcia of Roswell, Andrew Garcia of Roswell, Steven Lara of Albuquerque, Andrew Saiz and Brevin Saiz both of Albuquerque, her sister; Desiray Saiz of Albuquerque, grandparents; Ramon R. Lara and George and Norma Giron of Roswell, and Pete and Diana Montoya of El Paso, TX. Other survivors include uncles; John Giron and wife Veronica and their children: Justice and Jordan all of Los Lunas, NM, Larry Giron, Rene Otero, Felipe Morales and his children: Felipe Jr., Natalie and Raymond, Manuel Lara and Rita Lara and children: Christopher and Raymond Lara, her aunts; Jeannette Otero and her children: Arianna and Mattew, Cyndi Lara and her daughter: Deeanna Soto of Chicago, IL, Julie Weimer and her children Gabriel Lara, Renee Rodriguez, and Meagan Weimer of Roswell.

Chloe was preceded in death by her mother; Anna, grandmother; Telles Lara and her aunt Denise B. Montoya, and uncle Raymond Lara Jr.

Pallbearers will be Meagan Weimer, Julie Weimer, Cyndi Lara, Deanna Lara, Renee Rodriguez, Kenzi Medrano, Ryc Velasquez, and Robert Velasquez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Arianna Otero, Larry Giron, Seresa Medrano, Liz Garcia, Mercedes Andrade.
