Charlie B. Trotman
Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, August 6, 2011 at First United Methodist Church for Charlie Trotman 79, who passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at his home. Rev. Gorton Smith of First United Methodist Church will officiate.
Charlie was born January 4, 1932 in Lumpkin, GA to John Thomas and Ethel Mae Bennett Trotman. His parents preceded him in death. Charlie is also preceded in death by his sister Christine Graves and his brother Ted Trotman.
Charlie is survived by his wife Janet Trotman of Roswell son John Trotman and wife Stephanie of Odessa, TX daughter Rebecca Sheridan and husband Kevin of Colleyville, TX and grandchildren Bryson and Hunter Trotman and Sydney and Michael Sheridan.
Charlie has lived in Roswell since 1940 coming from Georgia. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Charlie served our country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. He worked as an Office Manager for Gas Company of New Mexico. Charlie was a past Exulted Ruler of The Roswell Elk Lodge and also past President of the East Grand Plains Lions Club. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening and kept his yard immaculate.
