Celia Lucero

Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 AM, Friday July 11, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church for Celia Lucero, 99, who passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Mission Arch Care Center. Reverend Glen Thyrion of Trinity United Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.
The family request that you wear casual attire.

Celia Lucero was born on February 15, 1915 in San Patricio New Mexico to Primotivo Brady and Josefita Gutierrez Brady, they preceded her in death. Celia married Samuel B. Lucero September 22, 1934 in Roswell, NM, he preceded her in death on November 2, 1976. Also preceding her in death are her two sons Sam B. Lucero III and Jerry Lucero, two great grandsons Michael Hernandez and Mark Koenic also one granddaughter A324a Lucero.

She is survived by her son Raul Lucero, daughter Jo Sedillo and her husband Monroe, Virginia Richardson and her husband Gilbert, Allene Chaves and her husband Bobby, and Dinah Cavanaugh also her are sixteen grandchildren, twentynine great grandchildren and nine greatgreat grandchildren.

Those serving as pallbearers are her grandsons G L Richardson, Jack Cavanaugh, Larry Lucero, Mike Chaves, Jerry Lucero and Gabriel Richardson.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Luceros name to Trinity United Methodist Church, 1413 S. Union, Roswell, NM 88203.
