A funeral mass will be scheduled at a later date for Carmen Maria Hernandez, 37, of Roswell who passed away July 2, 2007 in Lubbock, TX. Carmen will lie in state on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for family and friends. Her wishes were to be cremated.

Carmen was born on July 27, 1969 in Colima, Mexico to Juan Gonzalez and Maria Preciado Gonzalez.

Carmen married Lucas Hernandez on February 24, 1990 in California. He survives him at the family home.

Carmen is also survived by her daughter: Melaina Hernandez, Aleena Hernandez both of Roswell; her brother: Juan Gonzalez of Roswell; her sisters: Martha Gonzalez of California, Josefina Duran of California, Silvia Campos of Roswell, Veronica Gonzalez of California, Yevette Gonzalez of Roswell and Revecca Gonzalez of Roswell.

Carmen was a homemaker. She was of the catholic faith and member of St. Johns Catholic Church.
