A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., November 30, 2007 at St. Johns Catholic Church for Carlota Dominguez, 89, of Roswell who passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at her residence. A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2007 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Fr. Juan Montoya, O.F.M, of St. Johns Catholic Church will officiate. Following the service burial will be at South Park Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends after the service at the Boys and Girls Club.

Carlota was born on March 20, 1918 in Anthony, Texas to Marcelino and Paublita Ramirez Neria. Her parents have preceded her in death as well as one brother Jose Neria and one sister Lupe Tarango.

Carlota married Gregorio on August 12, 1940 in Roswell, NM. Her husband has preceded her in death.

Carlota is survived by her sons: Mario Dominguez and wife Jackie and Andrew Dominguez and wife Lois; her daughters: Juanita Bero and husband Charlie and Geneva Dominguez; her brother: Fidel Neria and wife Della; her sisters: Consuelo Cruz of Hobbs, Frances Aguirre of Albuquerque and Helen Cruz of Roswell; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Carlota has lived in Roswell for 70 years coming from Anthony, Texas. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Johns Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Guadalupanas Society.

Pallbearers will be Adam Bero, A.J. Dominguez, James Aguirre, Eric Neria, Tim Young and Pete Cruz.
