Carlos Alarid

A funeral service is scheduled at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Carlos Alarid, 90, who passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Pastor Savino Sanchez of Church on the Move will be officiating with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery with Military Honors with Roswell Veteran's Honor Guard conducting services.

Carlos was born August 14, 1925 to Escolastico Alarid and Conrada M. Zamora in Fort Sumner, NM. Carlos loved get-together with friend and family, loved his grandkids, and enjoyed carpentry and gardening. He was proudly a member of Church on the Move and was employed at the Roswell ICE Co. for 57 years.


Carlos is also survived his son, Carlos A. Alarid and wife, Carol Hilgers of Santa Fe, NM; his daughter, Gloria Pafford and husband Patrick Pafford of San Patricio, NM; grandchildren, Maya Alarid Pease of Albuquerque, NM; Maeghin Alarid of Castle Rock, CO; Joaquin Alarid of Seattle, WA; Tammy Duncan of Vallejo, CA; and Samuel Alarid of Clarksville, TN; great grandchildren: Justin Kase Duncan of San Patricio, NM; Dane Massengill of Vallejo, CA; Judah Alarid Pease, Elias Alarid Pease, Abran Alarid, Mika Escarcida and Ayla Escarcida. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Carlos is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Adelina Sena and grandson, Zachary Pafford.
