Carl Richard Padilla Sr.

Carl Richard Padilla Sr. age 65, gained his wings Friday, February 12, 2021 at his home in Roswell.

He was born July 13, 1955 in Roswell, NM to Felix and Bertha Padilla who preceded him in death. Also preceded in death by his brother Roger Padilla.

Carl loved hunting, fishing, building things and fixing things... But most of all he loved his family! Especially his children, grandchildren and great grandson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother Felix Joe Padilla and wife Trina and daughter Latisha Padilla; his sister Sheryl Padilla; brother Gary Padilla and wife Cindy all of Roswell NM, he is also survived by his four children Sylvia Padilla,  Gloria Padilla, Tommy Apodaca, and Carl Padilla Jr.; thirteen grandchildren Anthony Gonzales, Christopher Padilla, E’Anna Padilla, David Calvillo Jr., Urbano Gonzalez, Kailey Ortigoza, Sophia Gonzalez, JayLynn Apodaca, Esequiel Duarte, AnnaLeah Duarte, Apollo Padilla, Nebula Padilla and Amelia Apodaca and great grandson Josiah Anthony Gonzales.

As always in any case take care of yourself and those you love. I am so thankful my very last words to him were “Bye Dad, I love you!”

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Carl Padilla Jr., Anthony Gonzales, Christopher Padilla, David Calvillo Jr., Urbano Gonzalez and Esequiel Duarte.

A rosary will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Ave Maria Center with mass to follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.
