Carl Lee Bass

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at South Park Cemetery for Carl Lee Bass, 56, of Roswell who passed away April 13, 2009 at his home. Georgia Shaw of Roswell Homecare and Hospice will officiate. The Roswell Sheriffs department will be providing military graveside service

Carl was born on June 22, 1952 to Henry L. Bass and June Hawkins Bass in Ventura, California. His parents have preceded him in death.

Carl is survived by his sisters: Karen Deeter, Carla Martindill and husband Gale, Katherine Sherwood, and Roberta Taschner all of Roswell; his nieces and nephews: Patricia Kanmore, Michael Deeter, Larry Deeter, John Robb, Leonard Robb, Toby Deeter, Jason Price, Ray Deeter, David Taschner and Daniel Taschner.

Carl served our country in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War and was a life long resident of Roswell. He was an excellent mechanic and loved to work on cars. Carl was also a member of the DAV.
