Carl Andrew Dennis

Carl Andrew Dennis, 95, left his earthly home to be with the Lord November 14, 2021. He was the oldest of seven siblings. Carl was born September 30,1926 in Wichita Falls, TX, to Delburt and Opal (Lard). He is survived by his wife, of 69 years Maxine (Bland), who he married August 9, 1952, Daughters: Patty Harshey (Danny), Duncan, OK, Cindy Dennis of ABQ, three grandchildren: Julie Willis (Jason), Craig Harshey (Meredith), and Courtney Schmidt, six great grandchildren: Tatum, and Parker Willis, Holland, Katheryn, Hadley, and Luke Harshey, Brother: Bennie (Norma), sisters: Roxie McGhee and Delma Davis.

Carl worked as a farmer for 50 years in the Pecos Valley. Later he worked for Carlsbad Irrigation District. After retirement, he took the initiative to care for the church and parsonage yards. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. His hobbies included: growing and harvesting pecans, putting together jigsaw puzzles, driving around the farms he used to work on, and seeing the changes of the town. He also loved his caramels, popcorn, and Pepsi.

On December 4th at 2pm a celebration of life for Carl Dennis will be held at Hagerman First Baptist Church.
